BLOG PREVIEW POSTER - Halloween Moonlight Bat

New Graph: Halloween Moonlight Bat

Bat designs have been one of the most sought-after patterns whenever Halloween is coming. And today, I want to share with you this Halloween Moonlight Bat c2c project that is perfect for the spooky holiday.

I think bats are cute and the perfect theme for a Halloween design. In fact, I created two similar patterns last year — Halloween Bats In Full Moon and the Happy Halloween Ghost & Bat

But do you ever wonder when and why bats are associated with Halloween?

I’m curious about it myself, so I did some fun research. And I found out that the main reason why these creatures are often linked to the spookiest holiday is that they’re nocturnal animals.

Because nocturnal animals are typically related to darkness, a subject connected to Halloween, bats eventually became an iconic symbol for the event.

Another apparent reason is the bat-vampire link. After the famous movie, Dracula, people viewed bats as mysterious animals that perfectly match the spooky theme.

That said, it isn’t surprising to see plenty of bat-inspired decorations and costumes during All Hallow’s Eve.

Now, if you plan to make one for yourself and need a delightful bat crochet pattern, this pattern couldn’t be more ideal.

You can easily turn this bat design into a Halloween c2c blanket that would keep you warm and cozy while watching your favorite horror movie.

It can also be made into a spooky crochet tapestry wall hanging that’s perfect for adorning dull corners or blank walls.

On top of that, you can also use this pattern to do other DIY Halloween decorative items and thoughtful gifts.

It comes with single-page and multipage graphs, so it’s very useful for crafts like cross stitch, diamond beads painting, Hama beads, plastic canvas, etc.

I also included written and color block patterns, you can use either of the two or both — whichever you prefer.

Lastly, I made a complete guide about C2C crochet. It’s full of tips, instructions, and video tutorials on how to crochet using the corner-to-corner technique.

Beginner crocheter or not, you’re likely to fall in love with this easy-to-follow bat c2c pattern.

Halloween Moonlight Bat is a digital download (available in PDF format only) that you can use to crochet a blanket using various techniques, such as C2C, Mini C2C, SC, HDC, Tapestry Crochet, etc.

You can also use this design for other crafts such as knitting, cross-stitch, diamond beads painting, Hama beads, plastic canvas, and any other crafts that use pixelated images.
