Why did I choose a pink ribbon for my new blanket?

I always look for pink, kawaii styles for my own space. Big ribbons fit that look perfectly. I chose this design because a classic pink bow never goes out of style.

I knew a large ribbon c2c blanket chart would be fun to make while relaxing on my sofa with my cat.

This design makes a great baby blanket, afghan, or throw depending on the yarn weight, hook, or technique you use, like regular c2c crochet or mini c2c crochet.

What do you need to know about the pixel graph?

This design uses a graph that is 80 by 100 pixels wide and tall. I used three simple colors for this image: a light background, a bright pink for the bow edges, and a lighter pink for the inside of the ribbon.

Make sure to read the section below to find out how many squares are in each color. Knowing the exact number of squares per color will help you calculate how much yarn you will need and how big the blanket will be.

How do you figure out the final size and yarn amounts?
