This free eeveelution crochet throw blanket features a fun anime crochet pixel graph that brings nine popular characters together into one large design.

I designed this because I know how much video game and anime fans love collecting these characters, and making them into a large blanket layout seemed like the best way to enjoy them all in one big project.

This Eeveelution design features a grid of nine colorful squares, each showing a different evolution of the popular Eevee.

Why I chose to design this Pokemon blanket

I decided to create this design because these characters hold a very special place in the gaming community. Each evolution has its own unique look and personality, which makes a grid layout look very interesting.

Instead of choosing just one, putting all nine together gives you a balanced look that is satisfying to look at and fun to work on as you move from one square to the next.

Depending on the yarn weight, hook size, or method you choose, this layout can easily become a baby blanket, a lapghan, a throw, or an adult blanket.

If you use standard c2c crochet, you will end up with a large afghan or a single bed blankets bedspread. If you prefer a smaller children’s blankets size or a lightweight throw, you can use the mini c2c crochet method instead to keep the final size smaller and thinner.

How to calculate your yarn and blanket size

To make things easy for you, I created custom calculators on the site. These tools help you approximate how much yarn you need to buy and how big your final blankets will look. The final measurements change a lot depending on your yarn weight, your hook size, and whether you choose standard C2C or Mini C2C.

To use these calculators, you just need to make a small gauge swatch using your chosen yarn and hook. Count your stitches, and then click the calculator links on our site to plug in your numbers and finish your project planning.
