I designed this colorful cross print blanket because I wanted a simple, fun baby blanket pattern that works perfectly with the C2C technique. This blanket design looks really nice because everything is in the right spot, and it’s very neat. It has a bunch of little crosses that repeat over and over, which makes it look pretty and special.

Why I created this cross print pattern

I wanted to create a cross print blanket that felt “kawaii” or cute without being too busy. Often, crochet afghans have very complex designs, but sometimes a simple, repeating shape is exactly what a room needs. I chose crosses because they are bold and look great as a modern home accessory.

This design works perfectly as a cozy afghan. I focused on making the layout look balanced so it works well as a throw for your sofa or a bed cover. By keeping the shapes simple, I made sure the blanket looks clean and professional once you finish it.
