I am back with a new design that I think you will love. Today I am sharing my Hello Kitty C2C crochet graph to help you make your own kawaii character blanket.

As a designer who has spent years writing books and patterns for blankets, I always look for characters that bring a smile to your face.

Hello Kitty is an icon, and she looks amazing in pixel art. I wanted to make something clean, simple, and fun for your home.

Why I chose this Hello Kitty blanket pattern

I wanted to make this pattern because I really love the super cute “kawaii” style, and Hello Kitty is a huge favorite with kids.

Since children love her so much, I just knew a cozy Hello Kitty blanket would become their absolute favorite thing to wrap up in.

Putting her famous, cute face into a crochet design felt like the perfect way to bring a little extra comfort and fun to a kid’s room!

How big is the Hello Kitty graph

This grid is 80 pixels wide by 100 pixels high.

It uses standard shades like white, black, and red, but you can see the exact count of squares for each color listed further down this post.

Knowing the number of squares per color is very important because it tells you exactly how much yarn to buy.

How to use my yarn and size calculators

To figure out the final size of your blanket, you will need to make a small test square first. Grab your chosen yarn and hook, crochet a small C2C swatch, and measure it.

Once you have those measurements, use my online calculators.

They will do all the math for you to estimate your total yarn use and final blanket size whether you choose standard C2C or mini C2C.
