Hey There Pumpkin Blanket With Free Crochet Graph

It’s been a few days since autumn started, and this Hey There Pumpkin crochet design offers a fabulous way to officially welcome the fall season.

Pumpkins are one of my instant reminders that it’s once again time to celebrate fall. Also, seeing pumpkin-themed decor around is my cue that It’s time to prepare my Thanksgiving designs and Halloween projects for the year.

Since I’m slowly noticing some pumpkin motifs sprinkled everywhere lately, I think now is a great time to share this sweet crochet pumpkin pattern with you.

While pumpkin is among the symbols of the fall harvest season, it can also be a cute term of endearment to address your loved ones and anyone for which you feel affection and connection.

With that said, this design is ideal for making handmade presents for people you adore and cherish, such as your kid, partner, best friend, or even pet. It is a lighthearted and playful way to express your affection and creativity.

To capture that playful and sweet element, I used soft, pastel colors. The color palette consists of green, peach, and burgundy are all very pleasing to the eyes. Then I opt for a classic white background to let the pumpkin-inspired typography shine.

The original graph’s color scheme works great for baby blankets and nursery decorations. But as always, you are free to get creative and try a whole different color scheme based on your liking.

Aside from the colors, you can also make your creation unique by creating it in a different size or adding embellishments.

For example, you can make a big blanket with this design using the C2C crochet technique and add pom-poms at the border or attach small little pumpkin appliques around the text.

Such a fun, customized blanket will look incredible as an oversized tapestry wall hanging in your little one’s playroom or a delightful decorative afghan in your living room.

On the other hand, the row-by-row pattern together with the tapestry crochet method is perfect for making relatively small projects.

With this crochet pumpkin pattern, you can do both methods mentioned above. It comes with a C2C pattern, row-by-row pattern, and helpful graphs to make your project’s completion easier!

There is also an extensive guide on C2C crochet available on this website that’s perfect if you want to discover tips and watch tutorials about the technique.

I hope you find this design helpful for your upcoming fall crochet projects. Don’t forget to grab your free Hey There Pumpkin crochet chart below. And as always, happy crocheting!
